I am reading this book. I think this story is grate because I am really interested in WAR. The main character's name is Billy Stevens. Billy is 16 years when this story begins and is really excited about going to WAR. Billy goes to WAR and sees friends of his get killed. He discovers that trenches are cold ,muddy places and WAR is much different then he imagined.
I would really recommend this book!
Sounds like a book I would also like. It is not necessarily the war aspect but how it relates to histort.
